Michelle is the Director of InterQuest’s Risk, Regulation and Compliance practice. Michelle has spent the last 18 years investing in her reputation within risk and compliance in financial services. In addition to leading a team of consultants, Michelle has a strong track record of partnering with many of the UK’s leading banks, challenger banks and fintech clients to deliver search mandates for senior talent. Anna is a Managing Consultant within InterQuest’s Risk, Regulation and Compliance business. Following a successful time with the business in the UK, Anna is now based in our new Amsterdam office where she is tasked with continuing to grow InterQuest’s client base. In addition to InterQuest’s larger banking clients, Anna primarily supports fast-growing fintech clients within digital assets, crypto, banking, cards and payments to scale at pace by delivering high-performing talent. Anna has successfully built senior risk leadership teams and wider risk teams for clients. Successful European mandates include; Head of Operational Risk, Head of Fraud, Head of Financial Risk (crypto exchange), Credit Risk Director (fintech bank), Head of Credit Risk (fintech lender), and Head of Regulation (fintech lender).

As a trusted partner, InterQuest were asked to support the hiring of a Group Head of Credit Risk. Our specialist lending client had specific requirements relating to senior stakeholder management, technical knowledge, and role location. InterQuest effectively understood the client's requirements before conducting a comprehensive search to deliver the successful candidate.
High-Growth Fintech - Head of Data Science
Our fast-growing fintech client was looking to supplement their data science and decision capabilities with a senior hire. The business had exact requirements relating to technical knowledge, hands-on modelling capabilities, and solutions/team leadership experience. Having previously engaged another firm, unsuccessfully, InterQuest partnered with the client to deliver a candidate shortlist resulting in a successful hire.
Global Investment Bank - Head of Market Risk Management
As a trusted partner to our global investment banking client, InterQuest were requested to support with the hire of a Head of Market Risk Management. This was a high-profile hire which required an extensive search to identify the right candidate. Additionally, due to the seniority of the role, InterQuest were required to support the candidate through numerous stages of interviews to ensure a successful outcome.
Global Debt Purchaser - Decision Science Team Build
Having previously been retained to hire a Director of Decision Science, InterQuest were exclusively engaged to build the decision science team in the UK. The roles required a high level of technical modelling and data science competency, strong coding skills and candidates who were able to be flexible and adaptable. InterQuest were successful in hiring four analysts/senior analysts to grow the team.

We’ve landed in Europe too
In 2022, our business expanded its office locations into the Netherlands. We’ve got an office in Amsterdam, where the team focus on the European market.
London
Our London team is located at 24 Cornhill in the heart of the city. This location places us at the core of London's business and finance district. It has impressive amenities (including access to the Eight Club), and great transport links (near Bank Station).
Manchester
Our Manchester team is based in a modern renovated space called the Bonded Warehouse which sits on the same site as the Old-Granada studio tour. The office sits in the heart of the city and is well connected being only a short walk from Deansgate station and Manchester Oxford Road. We have a large growing team with a mix of experience levels. The culture is extremely collegiate, friendly, helpful, and supportive.
Amsterdam
Our newest office is located next to the Singel Canal in Amsterdam. This strategic location enables us to enhance our support for financial services clients within the Netherlands and the broader European market. The Amsterdam team, led by Anna Massey, is poised for rapid growth, with further expansion plans in the pipeline.
