The market is extremely busy at the moment. Fact.
The number of job vacancies in the UK is at an all-time since records began in 2001.
According to REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation), business confidence in the UK economy remains in positive territory for the fourth consecutive rolling quarter while employer confidence in making hiring and investment decisions also remain high.
At the beginning of the pandemic, my concern was that we would experience a market similar to 2008 within Financial Services. Clearly, there are a number of reasons why this hasn’t been the case however I’m really interested in understanding and subsequently sharing, some data as it directly relates to our Financial Services clients.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on employer hiring intentions in the industry.
We intend to, depending upon being able to achieve a suitable data set, run our survey consistently with a view to being able to illustrate trends and sentiment. I’m confident this will provide some really useful information and data to clients to feed into planning and to influence hiring decisions.
