Supporting Organisational Transformation with an award-winning digital talent programme

Pubished 16th December 2021

SCALA, a digital talent programme that aims to upskill employees and promote internal mobility, wins awards at Personnel Today and The FIRM Awards.

IQ Talent Solutions has been supporting our client Ricoh with building and delivering a programme aimed to promote internal mobility by upskilling talented and motivated employees from the Office Print business and helping them transition into new and exciting opportunities.

This project has won the following awards:

Best Internal Recruitment Strategy at The Firm Awards 2021

Talent Management category at the Personnel Today Awards 2021

These awards illustrate the quality and efficiency of the project, from planning and internal communications to the implementation and results achieved in a relatively short time frame. In the past two years, there have been many inspiring stories of organisations doing the right thing for their people at a time of such uncertainty and concern. The SCALA programme is a great example of this, while also addressing a business challenge that a number of companies are now facing – the struggle to find digital talent.

Matt Staley, Talent Director and recruitment function lead at Ricoh Europe summed up why we feel so proud of this initiative: “SCALA takes brilliant people and gives them the skills to succeed in a digital world.”

The FIRM Awards were established in 2013 to celebrate the very best of in-house recruitment excellence, innovation and best practice. On the other side, the Personnel Today Awards recognise HR teams and individuals who have made an impact with their people policies and have delivered tangible benefits to their organisation.
