Data Analytics Manager – Hybrid/London ️ – Up to £90,000 + Bonus & Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our banking clients for a Data and Analytics Manager. This individual will be pivotal in transforming data into strategic assets that drive informed decision-making , enhance customer experiences , and support sustainable business growth . This position requires visionary leadership to harness the full potential of data by building robust analytics frameworks ️, strengthening data governance ️, and advancing business intelligence capabilities .
Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy Development : Formulate and implement the bank's data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and regulatory requirements .

Data-Driven Culture Promotion : Promote a data-driven culture across the organization, ensuring that data is accessible and valuable to key stakeholders for strategic decision-making.

Analytics Delivery : Oversee the delivery of analytics and insights across the bank, transforming raw data into meaningful reports, dashboards, and actionable recommendations.

Predictive Analytics Development : Lead the development of predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve customer targeting , reduce risk ⚠️, and optimize operational efficiency ⚙️.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with various business units (e.g., Marketing , Risk ⚖️, Finance , Operations ) to provide data-driven insights that support business initiatives and decision-making.

Business Intelligence Management : Manage the development and maintenance of business intelligence tools, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are accurately tracked and reported.

Self-Service Analytics Enablement ️: Oversee the design and delivery of self-service analytics tools to empower business users to access and analyze data independently.

Regulatory Compliance ✅: Work closely with legal ⚖️, compliance ️, and risk teams to ensure that all data activities adhere to UK regulatory standards, such as GDPR, PRA, and FCA requirements.

Data Infrastructure Collaboration ️: Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure the development of a scalable, secure , and efficient data infrastructure that supports the bank's analytics needs.

Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data analysts, scientists, and BI specialists, ensuring continuous skills development and career growth .

Stakeholder Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the bank to ensure that data initiatives meet business needs and drive measurable impact.
Experience & Qualifications:

Deep understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and data science principles.

Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL ️, Python , R ) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau , Power BI ) and advanced data platforms, data warehousing, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS ☁️, Azure ️).

Ability to build relationships and collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive business impact.

Ability to develop and execute a data strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives measurable results, translating complex data into actionable insights.

Ability to identify trends and opportunities in data to support business growth, risk management, and operational efficiency.

Excellent communication skills ️, capable of presenting complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven track record in delivering data-driven insights and solutions in the banking or financial services sector with 5 years' experience in data analytics or business intelligence.

Experience of leading and mentoring a team within a fast-paced environment.

Strong experience in data governance and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, FCA, PRA).
