Our client is seeking a Data Scientist to join their data team on a 3 month contract.
Immediate Start
Outside IR35
3 Month duration
Must be able to obtain security clearance
2 days per week in Manchester
You will be instrumental to developing a new proof of concepts for customer & sales forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business teams to provide actionable insights.
- Contribute to end-to-end data science projects, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Conduct data analysis and build predictive models.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
- Shape the data strategy to drive business performance.
- Develop a proof of concept for a customer forecasting model
About You:
- Proficient in Python and SQL.
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning.
- Hands-on experience with GBMs, Neural Networks, and LLMs.
- Familiar with Databricks.
- Effective communicator with an innovative mindset and attention to detail.
This role requires you to be onsite 2 days per week in Manchester. Our client will only consider candidates in a reasonable, commutable distance.
You will also need to meet requirements to be security cleared.
Outside IR35 - £500 - £700 per day (dependent on experience).
Immediate start date.
