Director of Infrastructure & Operations (Urgent)

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in digital services and transformation, is seeking an accomplished Interim Director of Infrastructure & Operations to lead their IT Infrastructure and Operations function on a contract basis.

About the Role:

As the senior leader of Infrastructure & Operations, you will define and execute the I&O strategy, ensuring operational excellence, innovation, and transformation. Reporting to the CIO EMEA, you will align I&O initiatives with enterprise-wide IT and business goals, driving the digital transformation agenda while fostering a culture of agility and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Oversee infrastructure, service support, networks, servers, storage, cloud environments, end-user services, and workplace experience.
✅ Drive large-scale transformation, including cloud adoption, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
✅ Implement self-service infrastructure provisioning, automation frameworks, and cloud cost optimization.
✅ Manage cross-functional relationships, senior stakeholder negotiations, and vendor ecosystems.
✅ Oversee financial management, including budgeting, CapEx to OpEx transitions, and chargeback/showback models.

What You Bring:

15+ years of IT/business industry experience, with 10+ years in I&O leadership.
Proven track record in leading high-performing teams and driving cultural and operational change.
Expertise in cloud technologies, DevOps, automation, and modern workplace solutions.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic vision to transform I&O functions.
