What You'll Be Doing:
Developing and implementing the bank's risk frameworks and ensuring they are fully embedded across all teams.

• Leading strategic risk initiatives and advising the leadership team on risk-related decisions.
• Managing the second-line risk function and fostering a proactive, business-aligned risk culture.
• Overseeing regulatory requirements and ensuring governance structures are fit for purpose.
• Acting as the risk lead for enterprise-wide projects, including stress testing, culture, and potential M&A activity.
• Engaging with key stakeholders, including the Executive and Board Risk Committees, ensuring effective risk oversight.

A highly skilled risk professional with experience in financial services and a regulated environment.

• A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and SME banking challenges.
• A proactive leader who thrives in a hands-on role, willing to roll up their sleeves and drive meaningful change.
• Someone with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior executives and board members.
• A commercial mindset, balancing regulatory obligations with business growth objectives.
