InterQuest are supporting a well-established and progressive lender who are searching for an Ops Resilience Specialist to join and have oversight of Third Party Risk whilst executing day-to- day Operational Resilience activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent assessments of the first line of defense in operational resilience to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Assist in the effective execution of the Operational Resilience strategy by the regulatory deadline of March 2025, ensuring its integration across the organization thereafter.
- Maintain and update the Operational Resilience and Third-Party Risk Management policies to align with the organization's needs.
- Participate in relevant forums, including Operational Resilience, Third-Party Risk, and Cyber/IT discussions as necessary.
- Conduct risk-based thematic reviews of the first line of defense for Operational Resilience and Third-Party Risk Management.
- Engage with various business units to enhance operational resilience and Third-Party Risk Management practices, including proper documentation in Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience withing a similar Operational Resilience role
- Familiarity with concepts related to operational risk and resilience.
- Proven experience in influencing senior management to drive action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in presentations.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint.
