Regulatory Change Lead

InterQuest are supporting a fast-growing FinTech with their search for a Regulatory Change Lead to join the Second Line Risk and Compliance team. This role involves leading regulatory change efforts across UK and European entities, ensuring compliance and driving business adaptation.

The position can be based in either Edinburgh or Amsterdam, reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance for the relevant region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive industry engagement to stay informed on regulatory changes and communicate them effectively.
- Analyse the impact of regulatory changes and manage their implementation to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate responses to regulatory consultations, representing strategic interests and influencing the industry.
- Build expertise in aligning regulatory positions with commercial opportunities, becoming the go-to person for queries.
- Assess regulatory risks for new customers, products, and jurisdictions, supporting growth and innovation.

Essential Background:
- Experience from a similar role, focusing on 2nd line Regulatory Change management and implementation
- Strong background from the Payments and/or cards industry
- Strong analytical and communication skills
