Senior BTL Underwriter

InterQuest are supporting a well-established lender who are looking for a Senior Underwriter to join their team and focus on BTL lending.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and approve credit decisions within your delegated authority, ensuring growth is aligned with risk appetite and underwriting policies.
- Underwrite a range of mortgage applications with higher risk profiles.
- Make lending decisions in accordance with the company's Credit Risk Policy, Responsible Lending Policy, and within individual mandate limits.
- Act as a point of referral for other mortgage underwriters in the team, providing coaching and training where needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong BTL underwriting experience having held personal mandates
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- CeMAP qualified
